  • Condition: I took this to an expert on woodwind instruments and they advised that it needs a full overhaul to be back in optimal playing condition. As it is now, there are a few pads that are not making contact with the body and many pads need replaced along with cleaning and greasing many joints. There is also some minor chipping in the horn as seen in the photos. This would be a great piece to either have someone fix up for you to use or if you want to take on a project of restoring this beautiful instrument.

    Up for sale is a Vintage V. Kohlert Sons Graslitz Bohemia B flat Clarinet. Made in the 1920s-1940s.
    The clarinet is wooden and seems to be of intermediate-professional quality. This clarinet was made in the Czech Republic likely in the 1920s-1940s. The mouthpiece included is a "G. Langenus Inc" Mouthpiece made in USA.
    I took this to an expert on woodwind instruments and they advised that it needs a full overhaul to be back in optimal playing condition. As it is now, there are a few pads that are not making contact with the body and many pads need replaced along with cleaning and greasing many joints.
