This was Cundy-Bettoney’s model proclaimed second-in-line to their history-making Silva-Bet, and right from its most famous period – it has the C# mechanism patent pending number (instead of the final confirmed patent number), meaning it was made between early 1927 and mid-1929, and judging from the serial number

, on the earlier side of that period. It is as clean, accurate, and balanced as a Silva-Bet, but a bit softer in tone and look (matte instead of glossy finish).
It has been completely re-corked and re-padded, tuned up and adjusted, and made generally ready to go.
