The Christmas Candy pattern was introduced by Indiana in the late 1930s. The pattern is aptly named.  The edges, handles and horizontal lines remind one of the ribbon candy that Santa left at Christmas. The teal color was named Terrace Green by Indiana.  This whimsical pattern is popular even today in spite of the fact that the set only had 12 pieces.  Christmas Candy is full service dinnerware set with a 9 1/2" dinner plate, but serving pieces were limited to a mayonnaise, a sugar and creamer,  a large salver, a tidbit,  and a rarely seen vegetable bowl. Regular dinnerware pieces such as cups and saucers, berry bowls, soup bowls, and three sizes of plates were also available.
