at the Eissporthalle in Berlin [Germany] on Monday, 10th November, 1986, presented by Peter Rieger in cooperation with Concert Concept Berlin. The concert in Berlin was the first stop on Jackson's five-date German tour during November and December 1986 in support of the
Big World
live album. Produced by David Kershenbaum and Joe Jackson, the album was released in March 1986 on the A&M label. It was recorded in front of an invited audience at the Roundabout Theatre in New York City in January 1986. Jackson's intent for the recording was to capture the intensity and spontaneity of a live performance, but without the distraction of noise from the crowd. He requested that the audience remain silent while his performance was recorded. The music was mixed live from microphones on each musical instrument and sent directly to a stereo digital tape recorder. Unlike most live recordings, no post-recording mixing or overdubbing was performed. The songs on the album are loosely linked by lyrics covering a general theme of post-World War II international relations and global travel.
The poster measures 83.7 x 59.3 cm (approx. 33" by 23.3" inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition with a tiny rip to lower right side border, ready to frame.
