    Metal Ruler Metric 30 cm mm Non-Slip Cork Back Easy to Read for Book Folding New
    This is the kind ruler I personally use for book folding. The cork backing makes it not slide when I'm making marks. The cm & mm lines are accurate, easy to see and read, and most importantly, they're facing upwards...the direction we need them to face when marking our pages. The rigid metal edge is also great for those times when you have to tear a page. :-)
    I also added an edge guide to the back so it's easy to line up your ruler to the pages. Just a little shortcut I came up with...I use a couple of sticky mount strips, so it's totally removable if you don't want it on there.
