--- NO BACK COVER.  Heavy soiling from use but otherwise intact. Lower left cover area has a sticky residue patch (probably had a sticker that was removed). 1947 printing of the 1944 issue.  From Co. M, 161st Infantry at the Armory in Everett WA.   Corners heavily dog-eared, heavy endpaper soiling.  Numerous handling stains on interior.  Intact with solid spine, no loose or missing pages.  Spine staples show rust where you can see them, some tearing around staples on front pages where you can see the edge staples.
I am going to have a small square of clear plastic on that small patch, then place the book in a sleeve, that will keep the cover from sticking to the inside of the bag
