Imagine the hundreds of hours it took to painstakingly fold, and craft the wings of each tiny pearlescent bird; then carefully string them together and attach to the handcrafted mobile frame!
I haven't counted them for an exact number, but the photos give you an estimation of the massive amount of tiny birds it took to create this mobile.
Approximately 63" long x 15" wide.
The first photo had the background photoshopped out; therefore, any darkness is from the background I couldn't eliminate. The second full-sized one shows it in my natural environment).
Very sturdy pearlescent paper utilized that captures the light differently throughout a day.
Would need to be kept in a dry environment and away from any airflow containing moisture or debris.
From a scent-free, smoke-free, animal-free environment.
New -- never been with anyone outside my home.
Sorry the photos aren't better. But because it's extremely long, it was difficult to locate a place to get the entire mobile into frame.
Extra birds and a frame are included.
This can be utilized as a mobile. Or each frame with stringed birds could be made into individual mobiles. Or it could be repurposed (which would be a shame as this is pretty spectacular the way it it) in many different ways.
I'll need a few days to carefully wrap this to prevent the strings and birds from becoming entangled.
