Harry Pedler & Co was in operation from 1919 until 1930 in Elkhart, Indiana. Harry Pedler made extremely high quality metal clarinets. These early high quality Pedler clarinets used the thickest metal of any, ever. Harry Pedler himself directly supervised the production of his clarinets, and as a result, these were some of the finest metal clarinets ever made. The construction was done with expert craftsmanship. Jazz players prefer the early metal Pedlers.
This horn is in fantastic shape, with beautiful engraving on the bell and fully functional keys. The pads will need to be replaced, but once that's done it will be a great horn for anyone.
