Seadoo 293720005 Small Gauge Support, ABS 3D Printed Replacement Part

This is a 3D printed replacement part for the discontinued Seadoo Part Number 293720005 Small Gauge Support. Unfortunately the OEM parts are made from rubber that decays in the sun over time. I designed and made this for my 1998 Seadoo XP Limited, but I am sure it fits other models like a 1996 GTI. As long as it calls for the OEM 293720005 rubber mount and the gauge has a threaded middle (and you have access to the back of the gauge) this should work to support the gauge in the dash. I got tired of my VTS and Gas gauge flopping in the dash! You can't buy a new replacement and used stuff is getting scarce. These get the job done and look nice.
This is a three piece set up. The gauge slides in a bezel, cog on bottom for line up with dash, little slot for the gauge to line up inside bezel. Unhook wires from gauge, pull gauge out. Slide the bezel and gauge in dash, sleeve goes over the bezel in the back of dash to take up the space, then the nut goes on. Slot in the sleeve to line up with cog in bezel. ABS shrinks as it cools, the nuts threads are smaller on one end, start the big end and it will tighten as it goes on. Finger tight snug is good with wings on the nut, no need to over tighten. On the third season of use on my XP, both 3D printed gauge supports have performed perfectly and showing no signs of failing.
These are 3D printed with USA made ABS filament on glass plate with a raft. ABS is the same stuff the glue together model cars/trucks are made of. It is tuff, flexible and you can file, drill, sand, model glue and spray paint ABS. Please let me know if you have any questions.
