    Description

    This is a Vintage Tiffany & Co. Solid 14K Yellow Gold Tie Bar / Money Clip.  I acquired this at an unclaimed bank safe deposit box contents auction.  It is clearly marked Tiffany & Co. and 14K on the back as pictured.  We believe it comes out of the 1940's - 50's when wide ties were popular as well as Money Clips were popular.  It is done in plain Yellow Gold with a bright polished finish and decorated with a series of parallel grooves set at an angle.  The money clip
    measures 2 1/2 inches long by 5/16 inch wide and weighs 11.7 grams on my digital postal scale.  It comes with its original brown Tiffany & Co. pouch as pictured.
