Unterlage for Embroider Navel Visor and Ratings

Description

UNTERLAGE is the pattern (underlay) for embroidered insignia that was hand-sown usually with metallic thread.
They are made of pressed hard-stock paper, that is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick. The the front of the pattern has a smooth finish to it, whereas the reverse is slightly rougher.
This is a for a lot of three (3) Navel (Kriegsmarine) patterns.
The top pictured unterlage is for the visor wreath, a metal or embroidered cockade (rosette) would be put in the lower center of the wreath.
The picture of the left is the unterlage for the career (rating) Motor Transport (Kraftfharmaat).
The picture on the rightfor the career (rating) of Mate (Maat Wehrersatzwesen).
You will also receive the small anchor that is in picture number twelve (12).
I have not found any good information on what it is, so it is throw-in. I believe it is a sleeve insignia for dressblues that goes slightly above the rank bands for officers, as line offices received a star, just a guess.
The last three (3) pictures shows the finished version of what the embroidered pattern would looklike, two of the pictures are of the metal version of the career insignia, but give a good overview of what career specialty insignia would look like when finished.
The first six (6) pictures are of the actual items you will receive.
Each unterlage well be shipped in a small plastic bag that is sealed and stapled to a piece of cardboard and sent in a padded flat envelope to ensure that there is no damage to these items (see last picture) as they are in pristine condition, and I want them to stay that way for the buyer.
These are unique items bought from a Germany tailor shop that had numerous unfinished embroidered patterns, shoulder boards, uniform tress, and other insignia related items.
For the insignia collector these are remarkable item to have to understand the construction of embroidered insignia from this time period. These are 100% guaranteed original period Items.
