Vintage 1870's Boosey & Co. Eb Boxwood Clarinet - Make an Offer!!

We believe that this vintage Boosey & Co. Eb boxwood Albert system clarinet was made in London in the 1870’s. This clarinet is in good condition for its age, although it would need to be cleaned and repadded to be put in playable condition. It has a scratch on the back of the upper joint that looks like a crack at first (see pictures), but it doesn’t come close to going through the wood. The bell has 3 cracks (see pictures), but these could be repaired. All the keys move freely and the dark brown boxwood will be beautiful once it’s cleaned and oiled properly. This clarinet will even come with the original boxwood mouthpiece which is in good condition as well. The tip, facing and rails all look undamaged.
We have it in a used Selmer Signet case now, but we’ll be happy to send the instrument without a case to cut down on shipping. Please let us know which you’d prefer before purchasing this instrument.
