  • Condition: This clarinet was cleaned and has new pads and corks. Keys cleaned and polished. No visible wear through nickel plating. All alignments checked and corrected. Pads seat very well and horn plays well. All rods and pivot screws are cleaned and oiled. Springs were adjusted or replaced for proper tension.

    Description

    This a cute vintage E flat soprano clarinet made in Paris, France, by A. Laclide.  The body is marked with the oval stencil.  No serial number is evident.  Mouthpiece is original.
    Bell and barrel are a bakelite/resonite-type material
    while the center section is
    grenadilla wood
    .   There are no apparent cracks or defects noted throughout the body and the tone holes appear in excellent condition.
    Plays well with a nice tone.
    The horn comes without a case.
