his listing is for a vintage P.X. Laube metal Albert system clarinet. This is a very rare instrument! Metal clarinets certainly aren't rare, and neither are Albert system clarinets, but for some reason the combination is exceedingly rare. In 15+ years of buying and selling woodwinds I have only come across around five metal Albert system clarinets! Interestingly, all but one of them have been this same brand.
This instrument is in overall very good physical condition, but it will require a full overhaul to be made playable. The body looks straight, and there are no dents or dings. The rim of the bell is flattened, as is very common for some reason. It can certainly be restored, although it might not come out perfectly. All of the keys are moving, but a few are sluggish, and one roller is not turning freely. I think that they will free up with some patience and penetrating oil. The silver plate finish is dirty and heavily tarnished. It will, of course, need all new pads/corks. The springs look alright. There is no case or mouthpiece included.
Please feel free to message me with any questions.
    Thanks again for looking!
    Note to international buyers:
Due to the current global pandemic, international shipments via USPS mail are experiencing significant delays. This is due to lack of available transportation (ie. mail is normally carried overseas as cargo on commercial passenger flights, however the flight schedules have been slashed). European buyers have experienced wait times of up to 2 months for shipments to arrive. If this potential wait presents a problem for you, please refrain from purchasing at this time. I sincerely apologize for this, unfortunately unavoidable, inconvenience.
