VINTAGE F BARBIER PRE SELMER CLARINET PARIS FRANCE.• In what appears to be pristine condition.• The case has seen some miles: one of the leather handles is broken away from the case and a screw is missing from the case's decorative metal bands.• The clarinet appears to be free of any damage • It measures 25 1/4" long. The Serial Number is 3763 and they match. Because Barbier was sponsored by Selmer beginning with serial number 4270, all indications suggest this clarinet was manufactured Pre Selmer around 1910. Included is a very rare and highly desired Jimmy Simpson Hollywood mouthpiece.
