Vintage V.Kohlert Sons-Bohemia 6 key C Piccolo/Flute
Up for auction is this really nice Piccolo. I am no expert about this item and can not play but I can get some notes from the first 3 holes then it is hard to get a sound. I will try to answer any questions the best I can. It also looks to be made of wood.
This measures approx 11.5 Inches long and comes in a canvas zippered bag. There is an instruction book also which was in the canvas bag so it is curled a bit. As you can see by the pictures the booklet is tattered and stained.
Seems to be in good condition, no chips or cracks just fine scratches from use. Pads look so-so. Looking from the sides some look white and some might need new ones.
Stamped on the head joint is V.Kohlert Sons - Makers Graslitz L.P. There is a scratch just above the blow hole. (See Picture)
Stamped on the Piccolo itself is Bohemia with a stamp that has Paris in the middle and Chicago on the left with London on the right. Under all of that is C 24531.
